Abstract of Principles

Rock of Christ is a replant: the core team began June 26, 2022, and the church now meets in the Riverside area of Wichita. Its confession is the Abstract of Principles, drawn from the 1689 London Baptist Confession, and its stated mission is Love God and Make His Love Known.

Preaching is expositional, verse by verse through books of the Bible; their site states: "The main point of the sermon comes from the text, not the preacher." Elementary-aged children stay in the service, and Sunday classes at 9:00 AM include catechism study and Scripture memorization. Pastor Andrew Bailey has served since the replant and holds a Master of Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; Tom Harwell serves as elder, with two deacons.
