How a post is made

Posts on this site are researched and drafted with AI assistance and are not published until a person named on the post has read the whole thing and checked every number against the page it came from. The name on a post is the person accountable for it. A post with no name on it has not been through that check yet, and it says so.

What a byline means here

A post carries a person's name only after that person read it end to end and checked its claims, on a date that prints at the top of the post. The date is the day the check happened. Nothing is backdated, and the site cannot publish a name without a date beside it, because the check on that pairing runs in the build and fails it.

So the library holds both kinds of post at once. A post attributed to Church Posting has not been read line by line by a named human yet. A post attributed to a person has. Rolling a name onto everything at once would take less than an hour and would make the name worth nothing.

A second name appears on some posts as the person who checked them. That is a different job from writing, and it is only ever a second person.

Every price, product name, statute, and figure comes from a page that was open in front of a person while the post was being written. That page is linked in the sentence making the claim, and it is listed again at the foot of the post with the day it was read.

When a vendor refuses an automated request, publishes no rate, or hides the number behind a sales call, the post says that in place of a figure and names the day it was attempted. An estimate is not a price, and a number carried over from memory is a guess wearing a dollar sign.

Prices, and when to stop believing them

Prices on the software guides are rechecked against the vendor's own pricing page, and the date of the last check prints at the top of the post. A guide whose prices have not been checked in six months stops publishing numbers until they have been.

Every figure states the plan it belongs to, the size of church it assumes, and whether it is billed monthly or annually. A price with none of that attached is not usable by a treasurer building a budget, which is the only reason to print it.

Corrections

Send anything wrong to hello@churchposting.com. A correction that changes a figure or a recommendation is made in the post, and the post takes the date of the change. A correction to a software review is also recorded in the log at the bottom of how we review.

Nothing is quietly rewritten to look right later. A post that was wrong about a price carries the new price and a new date, and the guides that reference it get the same edit in the same sitting.

Conflicts of interest

This family builds church software and reviews church software. Covenant OS and Berean are both in development and neither is available to buy, the poster at social.churchposting.com is in early access, and search work is sold as Church SEO Experts. Anything of ours inside a review sits in the same list as the tools it competes with, goes last, and carries a plaque saying it is ours.

What this site is not

Nobody writing here holds an accounting, legal, or tax credential. Where a post turns on tax or law it quotes the primary source and names who published it, so a reader can check the claim without trusting the writer. A church making a decision with money or liability in it should take the primary source to its own accountant or attorney.
